Janakpurdham. The curfew imposed in Gol Bazaar area of Siraha district has been lifted.

Issuing a notice today, the District Administration Office, Siraha, informed that the curfew order imposed in the Golbazaar municipality would be lifted from 7:00 pm today based on the analysis of the local security situation.

The notice signed by Chief District Officer Surendra Poudel states that the curfew order issued as per Clause 6 (A) of the Local Administration Act, 2028 would be lifted from 7:00 pm on August 1, 2083.

The curfew was imposed by the administration in view of the tension and security challenges that have surfaced in the Golbazar area for the past few days. According to the local administration, the decision to lift the curfew was taken after the conclusion that the security situation was returning to normal.
