Kathmandu. The fare for helicopter charter and rescue flights has been increased in Nepal.

The Airlines Operators Association has fixed the new fares for the same. The new fares will be effective from October 13.

The war in the Middle East has led to a sharp increase in the price of aviation fuel in the global market.

Issuing a press release today, the association said that with the hike in the price of aviation fuel, the new airfare rate is going to be implemented to ease the service of aircraft parts, aviation related fees and administration expenses.

The association has said that the service would be operated as per the new fare and urged the passengers and stakeholders for necessary cooperation and understanding.
