Agricultural Development Bank’s net profit declines by 29.52 percent

Kathmandu. The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has published its unrefined financial position up to Ashad (mid-July) of the fiscal year 2082/83.

The bank’s net profit declined by 29.52 percent to Rs 2.63 billion in the same period last year. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 3.73 billion in the same quarter last year.

During the review period, the bank’s net interest income decreased by 3.45 percent to Rs 9.12 billion. Similarly, the operating profit of the bank decreased by 24.32 percent to Rs 3.94 billion.

As of mid-July of the last fiscal year, the loan loss for management had reached Rs 1.17 billion. It was Rs 63.07 crore in the same period of the previous year.

The bank has a distributable profit of Rs 1.26 billion as of mid-July of the last FY. It has decreased by 55.19 percent compared to the same period last year.

The bank has preferred share capital of Rs 5.43 billion and paid-up capital of Rs 19.73 billion. The bank has reserve fund of Rs 19.16 billion.

The bank collected deposit of Rs 347.21 billion and extended loans of Rs 247.14 billion.

The non-performing loan of the bank has increased from 3.44 percent to 4.07 percent.Similarly, the bank has EPS of Rs 16.11 and net worth per share of Rs 231.71.
