Kathmandu. Possibility of rain in most places of the country today as the influence of monsoon wind continues throughout the country.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the monsoon low pressure trough is around the average place in the eastern region and slightly north of the normal place in the western part of the country at present.

The weather is generally cloudy in the hilly region of Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces, Koshi, Lumbini and Karnali provinces at present. The weather will be partly cloudy in the Tarai region of Madhes and Koshi and Lumbini provinces. Light rain is likely to occur at some places of Bagmati and Karnali provinces and at one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to the Division, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country towards the afternoon today. There are chances of moderate rain in some places of the high mountainous and mountainous region. Some places of the Tarai are also likely to receive moderate rainfall.
