Kathmandu. Physical damages have been caused in the dry landslide that occurred at Tatopani customs area at Bhotekoshi rural municipality-3 in Sindhupalchowk district.
The dry landslide had fallen from a hill around 200 to 300 meters to the north-west of the APF Nepal BOP Tatopani, located at the customs office at around 1.15 am on Friday.
The landslide caused damages to various structures around the BOP premises after the boulders collided with each other, said the APF.
In the incident, one of the windows of the first line barrack was shattered, while a hole was made in the wall of the second line barrack. There are also 6 holes in the zinc roof of the barrack.
Similarly, one duty post has been completely damaged while another duty post has been partially damaged. There was also a hole in the wall of the C.A.’s bathroom.
The stone has also made a hole in the mountain jacket of the Armed Police Force. The pole that housed the national flag was completely damaged and three holes were found in the Jinshi store building.
Similarly, the staircase in front of the main gate of the BOP has also been damaged.
Though there has been no human loss due to the dry landslide, several physical structures at the BOP premises have been damaged and further details of the incident are being collected, it is said.
