According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces as well as at one or two places of the hilly region of Bagmati province.
The Division has urged the residents of these areas to adopt the necessary precaution as the risk of mudslide, flood, landslide and soil erosion is likely to increase due to heavy rainfall. It has stated that daily life, agriculture, tourism, road and air transport services could be affected by this.
