Devotees throng Pashupatinath temple (Photos)

. The temples and temples of Lord Shiva across the country, including Pashupatinath, are crowded with devotees since early morning today. It is raining heavily here but Shiva devotees are entering the temple in a queue.

Devotees from Gaushala, Jaya Bageshwori, Mitra Park, Chabahil, Maijubahal, Chuchhepati, Kumarigal, Bagmati corridor, Guheshwori, Mrigasthali, Gaurinagar, Pingalasthan and surrounding areas have been heading towards Pashupatinath. There is also a long queue up to Gaurinagar.

On this occasion, arrangements have been made for easy, safe and systematic darshan and special worship arrangements for the devotees visiting Pashupatinath.TAG_OPEN_div_76 Devotees have also queued up to bring water from Sundarijal to the Pashupatinath since early morning.

Temple Guard Battalion, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal Army, Traffic Police, Kathmandu Metropolitan Police and various religious and social organizations have been involved in making the temple management more effective, safe and systematic.TAG_OPEN_div_74 Traffic police personnel have been deployed at Gaushala, Jaya Bageshwari, Sifal, Mitra Park, Chabahil and Gaurinagar to manage vehicular movement.

Queues have been arranged from all four sides to enter the temple. According to the PADT, there is no need to stand in queue for long even if the devotees arrive in the morning.
