Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is taking place today. The meeting to be held at Singha Durbar in the afternoon today has the agenda of presenting four different bills.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the Minister concerned is likely to respond to the questions related to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment in today’s meeting.

Likewise, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present the Employees Provident Fund (Tenth Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS in the meeting.

Similarly, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, would table the ‘Mediation (Second Amendment) Bill-2083’.

Minister for Youth, Labour and Employment Ramji Yadav is scheduled to table the ‘Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill-2083’.

Similarly, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, presented a proposal in the meeting seeking consideration on the Remuneration, Conditions of Service and Facilities of Office-bearers of Constitutional Bodies (First Amendment), 2083.

Likewise, Minister Gautam, on behalf of the Prime Minister, presented a proposal seeking passage of the Bill related to restoration of Nepal Special Service Act-2042 BS along with the report of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee.

Similarly, a meeting of four different parliamentary committees is taking place today. As per the schedule, the meeting of Infrastructure Development Committee, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee, Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee and Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee will be held in the meeting.

The meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee scheduled for 10:00 am is scheduled to discuss the report of the study sub-committee of the projects of national pride.

The meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee is taking place at 9:00 am. The committee would deliberate on the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2081’.

The meeting of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee scheduled for 11:30 am is scheduled to discuss the implementation of the ‘National Integrity Policy, 2083’.

The meeting of the Committee on Federalism and National Concerns will discuss the working procedure of the committee’s meetings.
