Kathmandu. Surya Jyoti Life Insurance Company has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of the last FY.

The company’s net profit increased by 8.55 percent to Rs 380.2 million in the previous fiscal year. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 35.02 crore in the same quarter last year.

During the period, the company’s net premium income increased by 15.73 percent to Rs 12.94 billion. Similarly, the net claim payment increased by 14.08 percent to Rs 13.64 billion.

Total income of the company increased by 13 percent to Rs 17.09 billion. The total expenditure increased by 13 percent to Rs 16.48 billion.

The life insurance fund stands at Rs 51.55 billion. The company has EPS of Rs 7.59 and net worth per share of Rs 122.68.

Similarly, the solvency ratio is 1.65 percent.

The company has paid-up capital of Rs 5.01 billion and reserve fund of Rs 60.92 crore.

During the period, the company’s investment increased from Rs 41.66 billion to Rs 52.79 billion.
