KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom (NTC) has decided to provide free voice, data and SMS services to the flood-affected people in and around the flood-affected areas until further arrangement.

Free voice calls, 2GB data and 50 SMS per day will be available till August 30.

Residents of flood-affected areas are requested to utilize the free services provided by the company as per their needs.

The technical team of Nepal Telecom has been continuously mobilized to keep the telecommunication services as regular as possible and to repair the affected structures even though various physical structures of Nepal Telecom have been damaged due to floods.

Accordingly, most of the structures have been restored and the company’s technicians are continuously working to restore the remaining structures.

In this time of disaster, the company believes that the use of the services of Nepal Telecom will help all the service seekers to maintain communication with their relatives.
