DRS to be implemented in all matches of NPL

Kathmandu. The Decision Review System (DRS) will be used in the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Issuing a press release today, Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) stated that this technology will be implemented in the tournament.

According to CAN, the DRS technology will be used in all the matches of NPL 2026. The use of ‘DRS’ will give the team an opportunity to challenge the decision of the umpire on the field during the tournament. The team that disagrees with the decision of the ‘umpire’ will be able to see the ‘footage’ related to the demand.TAG_OPEN_div_10

TAG_OPEN_div_8 Meanwhile, CAN has said that the time of the match has also been changed with the provision of ‘DRS’. According to the revised schedule released today, the first match will start at 12:30 pm and the second match will start at 5 pm on the day of two matches per day.
