Kathmandu. Under the Taxpayer Incentive Gift Program, 16 fortnightly gift winners and bumper gift winners have been announced from October 16 to 31.

Artists Deepak Raj Giri and Deepashree Niraula announced the names of the winners. According to Bhishma Kumar Bhusal, Director General of the Inland Revenue Department, coupon number 081632515849 has received a fortnightly bumper gift of Rs 10 lakh.

Similarly, coupon numbers 088790170, 093898314868, 08016969634, 082808976372, 08765660053, 08969185570, 0816235544, 0905748238550, 0782485888, 08662309515, 0921534542, 08529940312, 08986531029, 08408604001, 091015666249 and 08368966153 have received 133,334 each.

The government has started the taxpayer incentive gift program with the aim of promoting the culture of taking invoices and making financial transactions transparent. Consumers who buy goods and services worth more than one hundred rupees can participate in this program.
