Kathmandu. Himalayan Bullion Company has launched a mobile app ‘HBC App’ that allows you to buy real silver in installments. Through the app, customers can buy silver coins and bars by paying the amount and time of their choice.
The company, which was founded in 2000, has made the app available to both Android and iOS users. According to the company, customers will be able to view the daily price of silver and set a purchase target after opening an account in the app and completing the customer identification process. Coins of 10, 20, 50 and 100 grams and silver bars weighing 500 grams or more can be purchased. Payment for the purchase can be made through ConnectIPS or HBC’s electronic account.
According to the company, the process of opening an account on the app has been simplified. However, while buying silver for the first time, according to the prevailing provisions of the Nepal Rastra Bank and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, the customer identification details with the Permanent Account Number (PAN) and photo will have to be verified.
The company said that the silver purchased through the app will be kept in the insured safe storage room until the payment is completed. The buyer will be able to understand the silver they have purchased at the time of need.
Another feature of this app is the facility to check the status of your investment from mobile. Users will be able to see the amount of silver they have and its current market price. The company believes that this will make it easier to know the status of their investment according to the change in the price of silver.
The company has said that the app has been introduced with the aim of making it easier to go to the market and make transactions through digital means while buying physical silver in the traditional way. It is expected that the facility of viewing the details of purchases and investments from mobile will make it easier for those who want to invest in silver to manage the transactions.
The ‘HBC Silver’ app is available on both Android and Apple iPhones. For more information on the app and account operations, you can contact the Himalayan Bullion office or customer service center.
