Kathmandu. General Secretary of the Federation of Computer Association Nepal (CAN Federation) Chandra Bilas Bhurtel has warned Acting President Chiranjivi Adhikari not to use the name, official letterhead, seal and registration challan number of the federation in
an unauthorized manner.
Issuing a press release today, General Secretary Bhurtel said that serious attention has been drawn to this act.
According to a statement issued by General Secretary Bhurtel, letters have been sent to various national and international organizations and government agencies in the name of Acting President Chiranjivi Adhikari. The statement clarified that such letters, decisions or notices are not their official opinions or decisions.
The statement said, “There is a provision that the official correspondence of the CAN Federation should be done only by the competent authority as per the statute, institutional decision and the prescribed procedure of the Secretariat. Any document issued to the contrary will not be considered official of the Federation.” ”
The statement warned everyone to immediately stop the unauthorized use of name, letterhead, seal or registration-challan number. It has warned that if such activities are repeated or the reputation and functioning of the organization are affected, institutional and legal action will be taken as per the statute and prevailing laws.
The national and international organizations, government bodies, member organizations and stakeholders have been requested not to implement any letter or directive sent in the name of CAN Federation without verifying its authenticity.
