Kathmandu. Oppo has launched its new Reno 16 series in Nepal.
The series includes Oppo Reno 16 and Reno 16F. These smartphones have been made public through a grand fashion show organized by presenting technology, fashion, and modern lifestyle in one place.
Priyanka Rani Joshi, Miss Nepal World 2022 & Former Beauty with a Purpose (Asia & Oceania), Pratima Adhikari, CEO of Gadgetbyte Nepal and Head of Nepal’s No.1 Tech Channel and Surakshya KC, Nepal’s first and No.1 Moto Vlogger, presented various features of Reno 16 Series.
They showcased the Reno 16 series from the perspective of real-life experimentation and active lifestyle. Along with the Reno 16 series, OPPO has also launched the Oppo Bubble.
It is a magnetic device that acts as a preview screen and remote shutter on the back camera and allows personal content to be placed on the display.
The company said that the Oppo Bubble, which has a maximum retail price of Rs 15,999, will be made available at a special price of Rs 9,999 during the promotional period. The terms and conditions specified in this offer will be available.
The Reno 16 series uses Oppo’s 3D Pop Planet design. The company claims that the Pop White variant incorporates the industry’s first Holoverse 3D technology, which provides an attractive floating visual effect on the phone.
The Reno 16 has a 6.32-inch compact display, while the Reno 16F has a large 6.57-inch display. For photography, both models have a 50-megapixel ultra-wide selfie camera with a 100-degree wide angle.
It also includes a triple rear camera setup with optical image stabilization, telephoto portrait camera with optical zoom capability of about 3.5 times, and an ultra-wide camera.
The camera also offers features such as Pop Cam, AI Remix Collage, Popout Collage 2.0, 4K Auto Straighten Video, and Dual View Video 2.0 to enhance the photography and video experience.
Running on ColorOS 16, the Reno 16 series includes AI Snap Key, AI Mind Space, AI Mind Pilot, and AI Menu Translation.
The Reno 16 has a 6,700mAh battery and the Reno 16F has a 7,000mAh battery. Both models support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The Reno 16 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 mobile platform.
The series has an AI LinkBoost 4.0 as well as IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for water and dust protection. Splash touch and glove touch features are also available for easy use in different situations.
In Nepal, the Reno 16 5G is priced at Rs 1,09,999 and the Reno 16F 5G is priced at Rs 89,999. Both phones will be available in Pop White and Twilight Violet colors through Oppo’s official retail channels.
The company has also announced various offers for customers. The first 500 customers will get Oppo Airbuds A3 Pro for free when they buy Reno 16F or Reno 16.
Additionally, customers will get Complete Phone Replacement Facility and two months additional after-sales warranty in case the phone cannot be repaired along with OPPO Bubble priced at Rs. 9,999.
