Kathmandu. The government has given an additional 30 days to civil servants who could not submit their property details within the stipulated time due to floods in Bhotekoshi area of Rasuwa district.
Issuing a notice, the National Records Office stated that the deadline for civil servants, Nepal Police and teachers has been extended for failing to submit their property details while working in disaster-affected areas within the stipulated time.
Due to the Rasuwa-Bhotekoshi floods of August 24, 2083, the government of Nepal had declared a disaster-hit zone. According to the bookstore, the deadline has been extended to the employees who have the legal obligation to submit property details to the National Record Office while working in the area but could not submit the details within the stipulated time due to the disaster.
The Record Office has requested the government to attach an official recommendation letter issued by the head of the concerned office stating clearly and explaining the reason for not being able to submit the property details within the stipulated time due to the disaster.
