Kathmandu. CPN-UML central member and member of the party’s foreign department, Bishnu Rijal, has questioned Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle’s visit to India, whether government or private.

Rijal asked this question through social media. He said that it should be clear whether Finance Minister Wagle’s visit to India is government or private. He also asked whether the visit was for the expansion of the relations of the country or for the expansion of personal relations of the Finance Minister.

“Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle’s much-publicized visit to India is official or private? Is it for the expansion of the nation’s relations or for his personal relations? There has been no official word from both Nepal and India about the visit,” Rijal said.

Rijal said that there has been no formal communication from both Nepal and India about the visit. According to him, there is no statement regarding the visit on the websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and the Embassy of Nepal in Delhi. He said that the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has also not issued any official statement.

He said, “The Ministry of External Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and the Embassy of Nepal in Delhi do not have any statement on their websites. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has also not made a formal statement. ‘

He commented that the visit was a casual event and was widely publicized. He said that although Wagle’s old and new friends are active in building a public figure in India, he has not been informed about the official agenda and achievements of the visit.

“It was a casual event, intense publicity and all his friends, old and old, were seen on the ground to build a public persona in India, but I could not see, hear or read the official agenda and achievements of the visit,” he said.
