Nuwakot. The families living in temporary structures after being affected by the flood in the Trishuli River via Bhotekoshi have been facing more problems due to incessant rains.

Dawa Mingmar Tamang, who has been displaced from the pit, said that the food and clothes received as relief materials were soaked after the water leaked in the tents and the senior citizens and children were facing more problems.
“It is difficult to save the belongings after the water entered the tents. The ground has become muddy and the senior citizens and children have become more troubled due to the increasing cold,” he said.
The Nuwakot branch of the Nepal Red Cross Society Nuwakot has been providing tarpaulin sheets to prevent water leakage in the tents of the affected people living in temporary structures. According to District Branch Minister Uddhav Sharma Rijal, volunteers have been mobilized to cover the tents of the affected people living in five different places of the district including Banachautaro and to make water drains from all sides to prevent the water flowing from the ground from entering the tents.TAG_OPEN_div_29
