Kathmandu. Telephone services have been disrupted in some places due to continuous rain and floods and landslides in many parts of the country since August 8.

The heavy rain and landslide, damage to the optical fiber, disruption in power supply, snowfall, rain and storm have made the solar service vulnerable.

Maintenance work that can be done by the system technically and maintenance of the service is going on wherever possible. Technicians are in a state of readiness to be deployed at the respective workplaces as the weather improves.
