Spokesperson of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), Shanti Mahat, said that four people went missing and 26 were injured in the natural disasters that occurred between 10:00 am on September 27 and 10:00 am on September 28.

According to the NRA, 97 incidents of landslides have been reported during this period. Nineteen people have died, four are missing and four others have been injured in the landslides.

Similarly, 80 incidents of incessant rains, 57 incidents of floods, 17 incidents of snakebite, eight incidents of fire, eight incidents of storm, four incidents of animal attacks and one incident of snowfall were reported. Although there was no human loss in the floods, 415 people were rescued, according to the NRA. Seven hundred people were also rescued in incidents of incessant rains.

As many as 48 road sections have been blocked and 121 cattle have been damaged due to the disaster. The estimated economic loss caused by the incident is Rs 1.91 crore, according to the NRA.

According to the NRA, landslides, floods and incessant rain are the main incidents of disasters that occurred in the last 24 hours. During this period, rescue and search operations are underway by security personnel and related agencies, according to the NRA.
