Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has upgraded its credit rating.

Care Ratings Nepal has upgraded the rating to ‘CARE-NP BB PLUS (Issue)’ rating to ‘CARE-NP BBB MINUS (Issue)’.

According to the rating agency, an organization with a rating of ‘CARE-NP BBB MINUS’ is considered to have a moderate level of security and a moderate level of credit risk in terms of timely payment of financial liabilities.

According to the bank, the rating was upgraded based on the improvement in the bank’s capital fund, progress in the quality management of the loan, experienced board of directors and management team, improvement in profit, expansion of business, improvement in deposit structure, liquidity and market share.

According to the bank, the improvement in the rating is expected to further strengthen the confidence of depositors, borrowers, shareholders, investors, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders in the bank. The bank believes that this will help the bank mobilize resources at a competitive cost and also expand institutional deposits and business partnerships.
