Admitting that it has prioritized position and power over its main objective in the last two decades, Thapa’s report states that the politics of alliance management, division, factionalism and give-and-take has weakened the party’s moral ground and the tendency to protect its own side of the party in corruption and irregularities has weakened the autonomy of public institutions.TAG_OPEN_div_21

The report also states that the party has resolved to reform the party by apologizing to the people through the second special general convention by self-reflecting that the party’s distance from the younger generation has increased and the expectations of the citizens have not been understood.TAG_OPEN_div_19
