Tourist activities have come to a standstill. Bharat Kumar Pun, chairman of Annapurna Rural Municipality, said that they have to take helicopter help to deliver relief materials to flood-affected areas and to take patients with serious nature to hospitals.

There is a challenge to open the road in the premises of the powerhouse of Rahughat Hydropower Project at Tilkenichaur. Earlier, the river was washed away near the switchyard of the project by eroding the Kaligandaki river at the place where the road was located.

Two alternative towers that are not in use of switchyards have to be removed to open the road. Chief District Officer Ganesh Gaire said that a letter has been sent to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the promoter of Rahughat Raghuganga Hydropower, to remove the towers. He said that efforts have also been made to facilitate the supply of fuel for road maintenance.
