Kathmandu. The final list of delegates participating in the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress has been published.

NC 15th General Convention Central Election Committee member-secretary Raju Katuwal said that the final list of voters has been published.

With the publication of the new name list, the number of delegates participating in the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress has reached 7,114.

Katuwal said that the final list of voters would be published at 9.30 am today, while the investigation would be conducted from 9.30 am to 10.30 am and the final list of voters would be published at 11.30 am.

Similarly, the distribution of candidate nomination forms and the registration of nomination papers will be held from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm, according to the election committee. Similarly, the closed session of the Congress on Monday has amended the party’s statute. According to the amended statute, a new working committee of 297 members has been appointed. The election will be held according to the new system.

NC central member and volunteer management committee coordinator Ganesh Lama said 200 volunteers have been mobilized to facilitate the delegates attending the general convention.

Coordinator Lama said that volunteers have been mobilized at closed session venues and places where elections are to be held. A total of 7,500 delegates from across the country and abroad have arrived in Kathmandu for the 15th general convention of the Nepali Congress.

The general convention, which started on Sunday, is scheduled to hold a closed session today and tomorrow and elections on October 21 and 22. In the closed session, the party president, vice-president, general secretary and treasurer presented separate reports.
