Kathmandu. Laxman Thokar, the proprietor of Pushpanjali Lucky Construction Service, who was absconding after being convicted in a banking fraud case, has been arrested. The Kathmandu District Court on September 18, 2083 had decided the banking fraud case against the plaintiff Laxman Thokar and the plaintiff Laxman Thokar on the complaint of Dinesh Gatraj, who was authorized by Batas Tractor Pvt. Ltd.

The court had slapped a fine of Rs 10.3 million, a fine of 5 percent of the claim and six months imprisonment on Thokar, 42, of Dakshinkali Municipality-6.

However, Thokar was absconding as the court’s verdict was yet to be implemented. Acting on a tip-off, a police team arrested him from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-27, Mahabouddha on October 5, 2008.
