Kathmandu. Nepali Congress presidential candidate Gagan Kumar Thapa has asked for votes from the voters. He has asked for votes from the voters standing in the queue.

Although the party’s central working committee had decided to hold the party’s 15th general convention in December last year, Thapa had come to the leadership by holding a special general convention to lead the party to the rule of law.

Under his leadership, the party was elected to the House of Representatives on March 21. This time too, he has taken the party forward according to the statute by holding the general convention on time. When he asked for votes, the voters were very enthusiastic.

Shyam Krishna Khadgi of Kathmandu-6 is contesting for the post of president. Khadgi is contesting the election for the first time in the Central Working Committee. Gagan Thapa, who has been in Congress politics for a long time, won the election with the highest number of votes when he was a central member for the first time. He was also the general secretary earlier.

Thapa, who had been moving forward after the Gen-G movement that the party’s policy should also be changed according to the society, has led the party to this point by making the special general convention successful.

He urged the voters to vote voluntarily without being provoked by anyone. He wrote on social media in the morning that no group has been formed and urged them to vote without pressure.
