Savers of troubled cooperatives to correct their details by mid-November

Kathmandu. The Office of the Troubled Cooperative Management Committee has urged the savers of the concerned cooperatives to update the details of their demands.

The committee has said that it has been collecting and updating the demand details through an online system to systematize the process of refunding the amount to the savers.

Issuing a notice, the committee said that the amount of demand and demand submitted through the online system will now be paid directly to the bank accounts of the concerned savers through the National Payment Gateway.

According to the committee, savers can change or update the details mentioned in their demand. For this, the details can be amended on the basis of the OTP received in that number by using only one mobile number in each demand.

In case the name is wrong in the demand claim, the mobile number is not confirmed, the proof of identity and savings is not collected or more than one demand claim has been submitted regarding the same saver, the concerned saver should update the details with the necessary evidence.

Similarly, if more than one demand has been submitted using the same mobile number, a different mobile number has to be updated for each demand, the notice states that the application should be submitted through the committee’s email with the necessary details.

The committee has said that the provision related to the update of the details and amendment of mobile numbers will be applicable for the first time till the end of October 2083. The committee has requested all the savers concerned to update the necessary details within the stipulated time.
