Kathmandu. InDrive, the global mobility and delivery platform, has launched a new Passenger360 campaign targeting passengers in Nepal, ‘Rentals match and both are satisfied’. The campaign, launched with the motto ‘Fare Agrees, Both Agree’, reinforces InDrive’s commitment to providing passengers with the freedom of choice in fare determination and providing fast, convenient and reliable rides.
The concept of determining the fare on the basis of mutual agreement between the passenger and the driver has been put at the heart of the campaign. Through the Indrive app, passengers can see the suggested fare and offer the amount they want to pay. Nearby drivers can accept the offer or offer an alternative fare on their behalf. Passengers can then choose the appropriate driver based on the proposed fare, the estimated time of arrival of the driver, the rating of the driver, and the vehicle. Since the fare is decided before the start of the journey, passengers get advance information about the amount to be paid.
The campaign emphasizes two aspects that passengers prioritize, especially during daily commutes—the pre-determination of fares and the quick availability of vehicles. Since the app allows passengers to see the estimated time of arrival of the driver in advance, passengers can choose the driver according to their needs and time.
This system of InDrive also gives drivers the freedom to make vehicle requests and fare decisions. Drivers can accept the requests they find appropriate or offer alternative funds if they disagree with the proposed fare. In this way, the fare is determined with the consent of both the passengers and the driver, the campaign has presented the fare determination process with the message ‘Both are satisfied’.
Mark Tully, Asia Pacific Regional Director, InDrive, said, “Prior fare information and timely availability of rides are important factors for passengers in Kathmandu. The provision of mutual fare determination has been a key feature of InDrive since its inception. This gives passengers the freedom to choose fares and also gives drivers the opportunity to participate in their earnings decisions. Through the Passenger360 campaign, we are reinforcing our commitment to provide passengers in Nepal with easy, reliable and affordable rides. ”
Swastima Khadka, Brand Ambassador of InDrive and Actress, said, “My favorite aspect of InDrive is its transparency. Here, the fare is decided with the consent of both the passenger and the driver before the journey starts. This reduces the possibility of any misunderstanding about the fare at the end of the journey. In a busy city like Kathmandu, it is important to be able to travel freely without worrying about fare. In my opinion, the message that ‘fare is matched, both are satisfied’ reflects this mutual agreement and trust. ”
As part of the campaign, Indrive has also released a new video featuring brand ambassador Swastima Khadka. The video has been prepared with music that reflects the original culture of Nepal and the local environment, conveying the message of mutual agreement and satisfaction between the passengers and drivers. The company hopes that the video will convey the main message of the campaign more effectively.
