Kathmandu. Now, the vehicle owner will not have to appear at the transport office in person for the registration and transfer of the vehicle.
Some provisions of the Transport Management Work Procedure Directive-2060 have been amended to ease the registration and transfer process of new and old vehicles.
As per the amended provision, the vehicle owner can register and transfer the vehicle even if he is not present at the Transport Management Office.
In the amended provisions, the inspection of the vehicle done by the dealer will be given final recognition. Similarly, there will be no need to take it to the Transport Management Office and get it checked.
Similarly, the person who has given the warrant of the vehicle will be able to register and transfer the name of the vehicle with his/her original identity card, photo of the buyer and original identity card of the buyer.
Similarly, the owner of the vehicle will not be required to be present in person for the insurance or renewal of the insurance of the vehicle.
Similarly, the Transport Management Office will provide necessary technical access to vehicle dealers, dealers and companies so that their biometric details can be obtained while transferring vehicles.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, the amendment is expected to make the vehicle registration and transfer process simple, easy and service-seeker-friendly.
