Kathmandu. Both the stock market and the transaction volume increased on Thursday. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 4.56 points to close at 2,625.82 points.

Along with the stock market, the trading volume has also increased today.

Shares worth Rs 4.71 billion were traded in the market today compared to Rs 4.13 billion on the previous trading day.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of five sub-groups have increased while the indices of four sub-groups have fallen.

Shares of Beni Hydropower Project Ltd were traded at a positive circuit level today.

On the basis of transaction amount, Kumari Bank is at the top position today. Shares worth Rs 23.61 crore were traded today.
