Kathmandu. Traders have demanded an extension of the time of Tatopani border point. On the Chinese side, they have requested the Chinese government to extend the deadline as more than 45 containers carrying goods aimed at Dashain could not be brought to the Nyalam area.

With China temporarily opening the Tatopani border point for three days, containers carrying goods stopped on the Chinese side have started entering Nepal. According to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, the border point will be opened only by tomorrow.

The Tatopani transit point with China has been temporarily opened for three days in order to ease the supply of goods during the Dashain festival.

Only cargo vehicles have been allowed to cross the border point.
