Kathmandu. The Nepal Meteorological Department, Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast the weather situation for the next five days.

Meteorologist at the Department, Rojan Lamichhane, said the weather will be partly cloudy from today onwards as there is partial influence of the Westerly wind in the country at present and there is possibility of rain and snowfall from Wednesday.

The weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous region and mainly clear in the rest of the region tonight. ”

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the mountainous region of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces as well as in the Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces on Tuesday. Light rain and snowfall are likely at one or two places of the mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces during the period.

According to the Division, the weather will be cloudy in the mountainous and hilly region of the country from Wednesday to Friday with the possibility of rain and snowfall in some places.

The Division has also urged all to adopt necessary precaution keeping in mind the weather forecast. The Division has urged all concerned to take necessary preparations by getting updated weather information as daily life, tourism, mountaineering, road and air transport may be affected due to rain and snowfall.
