Kathmandu. Dinesh Lal Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asian Life Insurance Company Limited, and Hem Bahadur Karki, an independent director, have resigned from their posts.

The company’s CEO Shrestha has resigned from the post with effect from October 10. Similarly, Karki, an independent director of the company, has also resigned from the post citing busy schedules.

According to the information given by the company to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), Karki had resigned from the post on October 22. His resignation was approved by the 224th meeting of the board of directors of the company held at 9 am on Tuesday.

The company has informed NEPSE that Karki’s resignation has been accepted as per the decision of the board of directors.
