Kathmandu. Various roads in Gorkha, Kavrepalanchowk and Surkhet have been obstructed due to floods and landslides, according to the Police Headquarters.

Meanwhile, the Kanti Highway linking Makwanpur and Lalitpur has been closed for vehicular movement at night in view of possible floods and landslides.

The flood swept away the iron motorable bridge linking Arughat rural municipality-2 and 3 in Gorkha district.

The BP Highway has been completely disrupted due to landslides that occurred at Pinthali of Roshi rural municipality-9 and Gimdibesi of ward-8 in Kavrepalanchowk.

Similarly, the Karnali Highway has been completely obstructed due to the landslide at Barahatal rural municipality-7 in Surkhet district.
