Directs all ministries and bodies for effective implementation of policies and programmes

{{TAG_OPEN_div_16} Kathmandu. The government has directed all ministries and agencies for the effective implementation of the annual action plan and policies and programs for the current fiscal year 2083/84.

A meeting of the secretaries presided over by Chief Secretary Govinda Bahadur Karki held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today decided to prepare a detailed implementation plan of the government action plan and implement it in a time-bound manner.TAG_OPEN_div_14

The meeting also directed the Auditor General to formulate an action plan for the settlement of arrears mentioned in the report and to carry out intensive market monitoring to control consumer fraud, adulteration and artificial shortage.TAG_OPEN_div_12

Similarly, the government has decided to maintain peace and security during Tihar and Chhath, to give priority to domestic production in public procurement and to implement the Government Decision Process (Simplification and Digitalization) Regulation-2083.TAG_OPEN_div_10

The meeting also decided to provide citizen-friendly service by making one-stop service in the offices directly related to the citizens to ensure that the citizens get service in a simple, easy and effective manner.TAG_OPEN_div_8
