Information Officer at the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar Bohara, said that four-wheelers have been banned as the water level in the Mahakali River has increased following incessant rainfall.
“The movement of water in the Mahakali river will be restricted when it reaches 100,000 cusecs,” he said, adding that four-wheelers have been banned after the water level in the Mahakali river reached 115,000 cusecs on Saturday. ’
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has urged all to remain alert as there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in many places of the far-western state till June 15.
