Nawalparasi. Nawalparasi: The butwal-Narayangadh road section has been completely obstructed due to flooding in a rivulet located on the alternative route of Dumkibas area of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).

Superintendent of Police yadav Dhakal of District Police Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) informed that traffic has been completely stopped due to the diversion of goods vehicles operated for goods vehicles at Vinayi Triveni Rural Municipality-1 and flooding of alternative internal roads used for small and passenger buses.

“At present, the diversion of this road section and the alternative route of Hongshi Gate, winter and jamire highway have been stopped and vehicles have been kept in a safe place,” he said.

According to him, the alternative route has also been completely blocked due to the increase in water level in Kharangay rivulet at Vinayi Triveni-3 due to rain. Superintendent of Police Dhakal said, “At present, no vehicles can move in the Daunne Dumkibas section of this road area.”

The temporary diversion constructed at Binayi rivulet along the East-West Highway along the East-West Highway has been washed away several times due to the increase in water level.
