Pokhara. Pokhara: The 20th edition of Asare Planting Festival has been held at Gunde Lake area of Pokhara Metropolitan City-26.

Domestic and foreign tourists participated in the festival organized by Pokhara Tourism Council. The Tourism Council has been organizing the planting festival since 2061 BS.

Council Chair Taranath Pahari said that the festival has been organized with the objective of directly observing nepal’s traditional agricultural system and production process, promoting the tourism destinations in and around Gundetal.

In the festival, hill race, planting competition, fish cover competition in the mud, best farmer honor, musical performance by various artists were performed.
