Pickup Tunland crosses 8 tough off-road trails in 23 days

Kathmandu. The Tunland G7 is a pickup vehicle capable of reaching high and remote places in Nepal.

It has successfully completed its journey to eight of the highest and most challenging places in Nepal in a span of 23 days. It was not only a test but also a historic challenge to demonstrate true capability, reliability and innovation in difficult geographies.

Tunland G7 started its journey from Hikila (2,300 m) in Darchula and reached The Border of Nepal, Korala (4,660 m). In this historic journey, Tunland G7 successfully crossed difficult and remote destinations from Iron (2,450 m), Khangsar (3,700 m), Sandakpur (3,636 m), Dhorpatan (3,000 m), Gufa Pokhari (2,890 m) to Jumla (2,515 m). All these places are known not only for their tall but also for their difficult tracks, steep climbs and uneven terrain. It has proved that itself has been built not only for the highway but also for the mountainous region by overcoming all the challenges easily.

With 160 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque, the Tunland G7 performed impressively during the off-road journey. The R18 tyres provided excellent grip on mud and stone, while the 225mm ground clearance enabled you to overcome various obstacles easily. Advanced features such as hill hold and hill descent control helped to easily control the vehicle even in extremely steep ups and downs. The easy, controllable and reliable travel even on difficult uphill routes is a testimony to its engineering capabilities.

Tunland, which looks powerful on the outside, offers a very comfortable and premium experience in terms of interior design and convenience. During the challenging journey, he made full use of premium features such as panoramic sunroof, hot-cold adjustable electric seats in 12 modes, 12.3 inch touchscreen, smart push-start and automatic AC. This historic trip was an important part of the extensive testing campaign conducted in Nepal.
