Kathmandu. The accountants of Nepal Police are angry with the leadership. The police have been imparting training to the ASI to senior SI as accountants at different times as per the requirement. In the previous years, the police used to give responsibility to the trained policemen according to the training taken by the police. However, they have complained that they get the opportunity as they have given new training without giving a role to those who had been trained for the last two and a half years.
Those who have already been trained now have demanded that the role should be given to the accountant on the basis of the date of admission or training in accounting or entering the service. At present, the police deploy accountants on the basis of senior status. As a result, the problem of not getting opportunities for those who have been trained before has increased.
“Those who train first get opportunities later and those who train later get opportunities earlier,” said a police officer. Later, those who train will get a role immediately. ’
He suggested that if the police leadership wants to give equal opportunity to all, then it should be done on the basis of the date of entry and recruitment.
Meanwhile, Spokesperson of Nepal Police and DIG Binod Ghimire said that this would not happen in the system-run organization. There are 494 budget-running offices in the police organisation and there is no such problem anywhere, he said. He said that no one will get a role first because I am of a big position. According to Ghimire, roles are given on the basis of training.
