4 arrested with 1,074 kg ganja

Makawanpur. Four persons have been arrested with 1,074 kg of illegal cannabis from Katahare of Kailash Rural Municipality-5. The arrestees have been identified as Hari Bahadur Waiwa, 73, Buddhi Bahadur Pakhrin, 48, Arun Gole, 34, and Rajendra Lama, 19.

A police team from TAG_OPEN_div_23 The Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwor and Area Police Office, Palung, searched the houses of Hari Bahadur, Badhi Bahadur, Arun, Rajendra, Gokarna Poudel, Man Bahadur Moktan and Somlal Gole of the same area and found 54 sacks of marijuana. Police are investigating the matter.

9 arrested with illegal drugs

Police TAG_OPEN_div_19 have arrested Bir Bahadur Rajbanshi, 26, of Shivalaya Tole of Birtamod Municipality-3 with 560 milligrams of illegal drug brown sugar from Bhagwanchowk of Birtamod Municipality-3 in Jhapa district.

Kailali TAG_OPEN_div_17: Police have arrested three persons with 2.714 kg of illegal drug opium from Panchakoshi Hotel and Restaurant at Sukhad of Ghodaghodi Municipality-1 in Kailali.

The arrestees TAG_OPEN_div_15 have been identified as Lokendra Bahadur Shahi, 32, and Salu Shahi, 27, of Sarkegad Rural Municipality-5 in Humla. Police from the Narcotics Control Bureau branch office, Dhangadhi, found them with the substance and arrested them.

Police have also arrested Poonam Pun Magar TAG_OPEN_div_13, 32, of Lunggri Rural Municipality-7 in Rolpa in connection with further investigation. Police have arrested 44-year-old Arjun Tamang of Koilikharka of Galchhi rural municipality-5 in Dhading district with around 4.7 kg of marijuana and 4.8 kg of polane.
