Kathmandu. The vegetable and fruit markets in Kathmandu are in disarray after the monsoon. The vegetable market is also a bit muddy. On top of that, when the water enters, it is shaky.

Similar is the situation at the fruit market in Kuleshwor, Kathmandu. Traders as well as customers are facing problems as the market area has been inundated. According to wholesalers, the market has not been dry and clean.

Traders say that this problem is repeated every rainy season due to lack of proper market structure and weak drainage system.

During the rainy season last year, the floods of Bagmati had entered the fruit market.
