Kathmandu. Five parliamentary committees are meeting today.

The finance committee meeting is scheduled to hold discussions with the members who have registered the amendment proposal in the bill to amend the ‘Bank and Financial Institutions Act, 2073 BS’.

Similarly, a meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee has been scheduled to discuss the ‘Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Bill, 2081 BS’.

A meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee has decided to hold discussions with the Nepal Legal Practitioners Council regarding the Nepal Legal Practitioners Council (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081 BS. The women and social affairs committee meeting will discuss the working of the committee.

The meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee has been scheduled to discuss the ‘Electricity Bill, 2080’, ‘Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Bill, 2081’ and Sunkoshi Marine Diversion Project.
