Kumbhia’s Kamala earns Rs 3 00,000 annually by selling chicks

Kailali. Kamala Bista of Bardagoria Rural Municipality-2, Kumbhia has presented an example among the villagers that one can become self-reliant through poultry farming.

Ten years ago, he started broiler poultry farming by taking a loan of Rs 20,000 from the Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative Society. She expanded her business by taking loans ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 200,000.

At present, he has been earning a profit of Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 every time by selling chicks six times a year. He said that rs 300,000 is saved annually by deducting all expenses.

He said success would be achieved if he works diligently. She suggested the youths who want to go abroad to work at home. He also appreciated the cooperation of cooperatives.
