Kathmandu. Kishore Jung Karki has been appointed as the chairman of Prabhu Bank. A meeting of the bank’s board of directors held on Thursday appointed Karki as the chairman.

The post of chairperson was lying vacant after the tenure of former president Lila Prakash Sitaula ended in March last year. Similarly, Ramesh Raj Aryal has been appointed as the new member of the board of directors of the bank.

He was previously the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NCC Bank. With the new leadership, the bank is expected to take stronger initiatives for institutional good governance, transparency and sustainable financial growth.
