Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepal Police has arrested a Chinese national with Rs 14.4 million in cash.

Kathmandu: A Chinese national was arrested with Rs 14.4 million in undisclosed cash from a Chinese national who had rented a room in a house at Bouddha Naya Basti of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6 today.

Acting on a tip-off that financial transactions were taking place in the area, a police team from The District Police Range, Kathmandu and Police Circle Boudd searched the room and found the amount.

According to police, wang Chan, a 40-year-old Chinese national living in Swayambhu of Kathmandu, has been arrested.
