Jhapa. Bhadrapur: Police have arrested two persons with brown sugar in Bhadrapur municipality-7.

According to Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, spokesperson of the District Police Office, a team from the District Police Office and The Narcotics Control Bureau tried to escape by manhandling the police on Tuesday evening.

One of the injured has been taken into custody after receiving treatment at a local health facility. Manisur Alam, 35, of Kishanganj district and Nasruddin Mia, 55, of Kachankawal rural municipality-5 in Jhapa have been arrested.

According to the District Police Office, 205 grams of 80 mg brown sugar was recovered from the accused duo.
