Jhapa. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today inaugurated the Madandangi-Tarabari-Dipu road upgradation project at Damak municipality in Jhapa.
The road, which is the pride project of the municipality with the support of the World Bank, is one of the 17 roads selected across Nepal. Constructed at a cost of Rs 442.4 million, the 4.86-km road is considered to be a model project completed on time.
Stating that this road is also in the process of bringing a wave of development across the country, PM Oli said that the government is in the campaign to complete the works started up to Mechi Mahakali. Prime Minister Oli also announced the construction of a huge stadium at Beldangi in Damak.
According to him, the results of SEE have improved by 13 percent this year after conducting free online classes on important subjects with volunteer spirit as per the plan to improve every sector.
He said that there was no need to answer such things, saying that some anti-and-anarchist elements were spreading false and cheap propaganda that they had left people in Spain without getting anything else to hide the aspect of the success of his visit to Spain.
Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal, Chief Minister of Koshi Province Hikmat Kumar Karki, former Chief Ministers Sherdhan Rai and Udbhav Thapa, among others, were present on the occasion.
