According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the low pressure line of monsoon is in the east and slightly north of the normal place in the west.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly region including Koshi Province, Madhes Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province and Sudur Pashchim Province and at a few places of rest of the provinces.

Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces and light to moderate rainfall and snowfall at a few places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.

Similarly, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at a few places of rest of the provinces tonight. Heavy rainfall is also likely to occur at one or two places of Koshi and Lumbini provinces. Light to moderate rain and snowfall is likely to occur at a few places of the high÷ hilly and mountainous regions of the country.
