Kathmandu. The Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal (JSP) has withdrawn its support to the government.
A meeting of the JSP parliamentary party held on Wednesday decided to withdraw support, said purna Basnet, chief of the party’s publicity and publication department.
However, the executive had decided to withdraw support some time ago. In the meantime, jsp leaders held meetings with prime minister and CPN-UML chairman KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba.
In that meeting, the contents of the land bill, power cooperation, etc. were discussed. Oli and Deuba had said that the problem could be resolved through dialogue. However, JSP Nepal did not want to change its stand on the contents of the land bill.
